Stillitano’s Corner has been a Northern Beaches icon for the last 62 years. In the early days it was known as Ken’s Corner which was renowned for the freshest fruit and vegetables, and people would travel for miles to come for their weekly shop. Over time, it continued with the milk bar and introduced convenience. In 2013 the business was taken over by the daughter, Giulia, who has continued the tradition and has introduced into the existing business a delicatessen and fresh coffee, where Giulia makes all the traditional Italian dishes. In particular, Giulia’s lasagne and meatballs as well as her pasta sauce is becoming a talking point with all the locals and word is getting around. The latest addition is Giulia’s own Tiramisù, mamma mia Giulia can’t keep up with the demand! Giulia also makes on request fresh panini to your requirements and her coffee is exceptional with the coffee beans coming from Calabria, Italy. Stillitano’s Corner is a bric–a–brac of international products, such as Italian, Brazilian, Latin American, American, Indian, Asian and Aussie goods. Seasonal products like panettone and also the Italian ‘caffettiere’ (percolators) are available in addition to something very nostalgic to many is the Effervescente Tortoroglio and Magnesia S. Pellegrino Giulia’s menu varies regularly and there are weekly specials and meal deals.
